What We Do
Connect 2 Theatre are a small scale theatre company who tour educational, fun and exciting children's plays to infant and junior schools around the Midlands. The company was established in early 2009 by Lee Pendergast and Lauren Holmes, who between them share approximately 16 years experience in film, children's television and theatre in education. Throughout the year there will be three tours. We kick off with a pantomime to get everyone in the Christmas spirit, and follow with two educational plays based around moral and ethical issues.
We believe that children learn a great deal when combining the visual and aural experiences. There will also be a follow up worksheet and teaching aids focusing on issues introduced within performances, which will be available from this site. These are great aids for encouraging pupils to recall information and to help them interpret what they have seen.
NB. All actors participating in our tours have been CRB checked under the Protection of Children Act, and the company has Public Liability insurance.
